Clitterhouse Playing Fields

Twelfth Night

6pm, Friday 16th June

Clitterhouse Farm Outbuildings
Clitterhouse Playing Fields, Claremont Rd, NW2 1AP

We are delighted to announce that we will be back this Summer to celebrate our sixth anniversary with a new production of Twelfth Night, Shakespeare’s glorious romantic comedy of mistaken identity, set in the 1920s. The production will be directed by Sioned Jones.

The performance will begin promptly at 6pm and will be over by approximately 8.30pm. We hope that the audience will picnic before the show. We will contact you with details of bar and catering facilities before the event.

If you would like to pre-order a picnic, please order it directly from Clitterhouse’s picnic link here.

The Farm is located inside Clitterhouse Playing Fields. If you are coming via Claremont Road there is a metal pedestrian ‘kissing gate’ entrance to the playing fields. Please do not try to enter the farm via the private family home or the working yard entrance on Claremont Road. Further directions can be found here.

Dame Judi Dench, CH, DBE, FRSA, Patron of Shakespeare in the Squares says, “I made my Broadway debut as Viola, so Twelfth Night has always been a very special play for me. I can’t imagine a more perfect choice for Shakespeare in the Squares: music, mischief, missing twins and romance – all played out on balmy summer evenings in the heart of London’s enchanted gardens and squares. I much look forward to seeing their production, and know they ‘will strive to please you every day.”
